RentAAA Buyer Sign-Up Agreement (Australia)

Welcome to RentAAA Wallet. By creating an account, you (“Buyer”, “you” or “your”) agree to the terms outlined in this Buyer Sign-Up Agreement, governed by Australian law. Please read carefully.

  • 1. Account Registration
    • 1.1 Be at least 18 years old.
    • 1.2 Reside in a jurisdiction where the Company is authorized to provide Services.
    • 1.3 Provide accurate, complete, and current information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date at all times.

  • 1.4 RentAAA operates strictly as a Software as a Service and technology provider.
  • By using the RentAAA Wallet, you acknowledge that RentAAA provides the software to facilitate payments and management, but does not own, lease, or control any inventory or services provided by the Merchant.
  • All rental agreements and service obligations are strictly between you and the Merchant.
  • 2. Use of Information
  • By signing up, you authorise RentAAA to collect and use your personal and payment information to:

  • 2.1 Create and manage your digital wallet.
  • 2.2 Process payments via Direct Debit, PayTo, PayID, or other supported methods.
  • 2.3 Provide support and comply with legal obligations.
  • 2.4 Improve RentAAA services through analytics and feedback.
  • 2.5 You acknowledge and agree that RentAAA will retain your transactional records, audit logs, and payment records for at least seven (7) years as required for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, and audit purposes, even after your account is closed.
  • Your information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy.

  • 3. Disclosure of Information
  • You agree that RentAAA may share your information with:

  • 3.1 Payment processors and gateways.
  • 3.2 Third-party service providers supporting RentAAA operations.
  • 3.3 Regulatory or government authorities when required by law.
  • 4. Data Privacy and Security
  • We use industry-standard security measures including encryption and secure data storage. You have the right to access and correct your data and to lodge complaints under our Privacy Policy.

  • In the event of any actual or suspected unauthorized access, disclosure, or data breach affecting your personal information, RentAAA and the Merchant are committed to notifying the other party and affected individuals within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
  • 5. Consumer Guarantees
  • Nothing in this agreement limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to services delivered with due care and fit for their intended purpose.

  • In the event that a Merchant ceases to operate, leaves their business, or goes into liquidation, RentAAA shall have no liability or obligation to provide the goods or services originally intended. The Merchant remains solely liable for all outstanding fulfillment, refunds, or service obligations. You agree that you will not hold RentAAA responsible for the failure of a Merchant to deliver on their commercial agreements.
  • 6. Acceptable Use
  • You must not use RentAAA Wallet for unlawful or fraudulent purposes. We may suspend or terminate your account if we detect misuse or non-compliance.

  • 7. Amendments to This Agreement
  • We may update these terms from time to time. You will be notified via email or within the platform. Continued use of the wallet after notice means you accept the changes.

  • 8. Governing Law
  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of New South Wales.

  • Any disputes arising under this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

  • Any disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiations shall be referred to non-binding mediation in New South Wales. If the dispute remains unresolved, it shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration in New South Wales in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Act 2010 (NSW).
  • 9. Authorisation to Use Alternate Payment Methods
  • If your default payment method fails, you authorise RentAAA to charge any other payment method linked to your account, including Direct Debit, PayTo, PayID, or other supported methods. You must ensure all linked payment methods are valid and funded.

  • By registering your payment details and approving a recurring payment setup, you provide an irrevocable authorization for RentAAA to process charges on behalf of the Merchant. You warrant that the identity and payment information provided are your own. Once prior approval is given, you waive the right to dispute the transaction with your financial institution on the grounds of unauthorized transaction or identity theft, provided the charge aligns with the Merchant's billing schedule you approved.
  • 10. Removing a Payment Method
  • You may request to remove an attached payment method by:

  • 10.1 If you have access to your registered email: Email [email protected] from the same registered email address, clearly stating the payment method to be removed and a valid contact number.
  • 10.2 If you no longer have access to your registered email: Email us from your new address with:
    • a. Details of the payment method to be removed.
    • b. A note explaining loss of email access.
    • c. A valid contact phone number.
  • 10.3 Our team will contact you for verification before removal. To effectively cancel or pause an auto-debit authorization, Users must provide at least 7 business days' notice prior to the next scheduled billing date. Any deduction occurring within this 7-day window due to late notification shall be deemed a valid and authorized transaction under the prior approval.
  • 10.4 If a User chooses to make a manual deposit or payment, it is the User's sole responsibility to disable the auto-debit feature through the app settings or notify RentAAA. Failure to do so resulting in a double payment or technical deduction will not make RentAAA liable for damages beyond a standard refund process facilitated by the Merchant.
  • 10.5 Any claim regarding wrongful or unauthorized charges must be reported to RentAAA in writing within 14 days of the transaction date. After this period, the transaction is deemed final, accepted, and irrevocably authorized by the User.
  • 10.6 As RentAAA is only a software facilitator and not the Merchant of Record, any dispute raised 6 months or more after a transaction must be directed solely to the Merchant. You agree that RentAAA logs showing the initial authorization and the addition of payment details to the Wallet constitute conclusive evidence of your consent for all subsequent recurring charges.
  • 10.7 The User acknowledges that the initial successful registration of a payment method, involving multi-factor authentication or bank-level verification, serves as a Master Authorization. RentAAA digital logs, including the timestamped IP address, Device ID, and browser fingerprint captured at the time of wallet setup, constitute conclusive evidence of the User's identity and their intent to authorize all future charges initiated by their chosen Merchant.
  • 11. Fees Applicable
  • Each transaction through RentAAA Wallet incurs a transaction fee. Please contact your service provider, the Merchant, for specific fee details.

  • A dishonour fee, up to AUD 11, applies to failed or returned payments.

  • If you have a separate agreement with your seller regarding dishonour fees, that agreement will apply instead.

  • 12. Liability for Processor or Gateway Fees
  • If any of your actions cause fees or penalties to be charged by a payment processor, gateway, or financial institution:

  • 12.1 You are fully responsible for those fees.
  • 12.2 You authorise RentAAA to recover the amount by charging your wallet or issuing an invoice.
  • 12.3 If you initiate a dispute or chargeback through your bank for a transaction previously authorized through the RentAAA Wallet, and that dispute is found to be in bad faith or contradicts your prior approvals, you shall be fully liable to RentAAA for the original transaction amount, plus a dishonor fee, and any legal or administrative costs incurred by RentAAA in defending the dispute.

  • 14. Refund Processing
  • To prevent fraud and comply with anti-money laundering standards, all refunds must be processed in a traceable manner. If a payment was originally made via credit card, the refund must be returned to that same credit card. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued in cash for transactions processed through the RentAAA Wallet.

  • 15. Debt Recovery and Communication Consent
  • (i) The User and/or Merchant, the "Debtor", hereby grants Starr Group Pty Ltd, the "Company", an irrevocable and unconditional authorization to satisfy any and all outstanding debts, liabilities, or financial obligations arising under these Terms.
  • (ii) The Debtor expressly consents and agrees to be contacted by the Company, or its authorized third-party recovery agents, for the purposes of debt collection, account reconciliation, and the service of formal notices. This consent applies to all contact information provided to the Company and includes communication through emails, SMS/text messages, telephonic communication, and formal Letters of Demand delivered via electronic transmission or registered physical mail.
  • (iii) Any outstanding amount that cannot be successfully recovered via automated set-off or deduction shall be classified as a liquidated debt payable within seven (7) days of a formal demand issued by the Company. Failure to settle the debt in full within this seven-day window shall constitute a material breach of contract, entitling the Company to:
  • a. Commence formal collection or legal enforcement proceedings immediately.
  • b. Report the default to relevant credit reporting agencies, which the Debtor acknowledges may adversely impact their credit rating.
  • c. Suspend or terminate all access to the platform and Services without further notice or liability.
  • 16. Agreement Acceptance
  • By clicking “Sign Up” or using the RentAAA Wallet, you confirm that:

  • 16.1 You have read, understood, and agree to this Buyer Sign-Up Agreement.
  • 16.2 You authorise RentAAA to act as outlined above.
